The Essential HD PTZ Camera
Lumens VC-A52S is a reliable professional pan, tilt, zoom camera that is designed for traditional AV installation and video workflows. Featuring 3G-SDI and HDMI outputs, this high definition camera produces excellent picture quality and offers customers the flexibility of shooting in 1080p, 1080i and 720p formats.
 
HD Workflows
Both the 3G-SDI and HDMI ports are ‘hot’ for synchronous video output. This versatility means that the camera is ready for use in live events and studio production where long SDI cables are required, as well as for integration into HDMI-based e-learning, training and AV installations. 
 
Image Quality
Equipped with a professional 1/2.8 inch image sensor, the VC-A52S provides great video output. The camera excels in difficult lighting conditions thanks to WDR (wide dynamic range), advanced auto-focus, auto-exposure and auto-white balance algorithms. These enable the A52S to maintain a consistent output even while the camera is in motion or when the zoom angle changes.
 
Hitting the Right Angle
The robotic mechanism allows the camera to pan -170° to +170° and tilt from -30° to +90°. Camera movement is smooth, quiet, and precise, while the speed of movement can be varied by the operator using one of the Lumens' hardware controllers. Perfect for use in conference rooms and public meeting spaces, the VC-A52S can be mounted to a floor stand, or suspended from the ceiling. The camera's image flip mode instantly corrects the output when the camera is inverted. 
 
Control and Presets
Controllers connect via the RS-232/422 interface. Supporting industry-standard VISCA and PELCO-D protocols, the camera is compatible with a range of control hardware, making it easy to integrate the camera into your video network. For consistent results and faster operation, the camera stores up to 128 presets. Activating a preset instantly applies user-defined settings for pan, tilt and zoom position, focus, exposure, and white balance. This allows the operator, for example, to automatically trigger a panning movement across a stage, a close-up focus on the presenter at the lectern, or a wide-angle shot.
